Thankful to be a member

Glad to be a part of such a valuable resource of info and community of support so thanks for the ad.
My name is Joey from NC and I have unfortunately been fighting back pain since 2009( my 1st occurrence). I had an MRI then to find a severe bulge at l4-5 and did the appropriate PT and and regimen to get back to work. I have had numerous re-aggrevations thru the years ( 4 this year) but my present episode took a turn for the worse when I had a nasty fall with a violent twist which introduced another level of pain I didn't know existed. It took ER doctors to the point of administering ketamine. Well x-rays showed nothing wrong and I was discharged and followed up with my Ortho surgeon that had corrected a minor fractured c7 last year. He had an MRI ordered and completed by days end and upon review it seems that particular disc (L4-5) had a major herniation but hasn't collapsed yet. I have just regained my ability to walk after a week. pain is manageable but I dont like drugs so I learn to tolerate more than most. I had already been researching from afar into ADR and that is my chosen path as I am a prime candidate by fda standards . I'm to the point of waiting on BCBS for approval, not to confident by what I've read, but nonetheless, I've decided that this is my only option as I can't run my newly started company without my back due to the nature of my profession. Really hoping I can somehow get covered as paying out of pocket is at this point is going to be a severe challenge. Anyhow, any advicewould be graciously accepted. Onto some more reading
