Member Guidelines & Code of Conduct
Harrison,
Going through your Member Guidelines & Code of Conduct, do you think that multiple members posting under a single membership ID is valid? Sometimes I agree with that "person" sometimes I don't, when I respond with Annapurnas I don't know who I'm responding with. From what I gather one of the two had ADR, the other did not. So when I respond to one of their responses who am I responding to? Laura or Jim, or don't you care? Laura - L5S1 Charitee C5/6 and 6/7 Prodisc C Facet problems L4-S1 Knee, Shoulder, Toe, Finger, Elbow Problems Jim - no spine problem but lots of other fun medical challenges "There are many Annapurnas in the lives of men" Maurice Herzog |
Laura and I have been posting together for just under ten years and have never represented ourselves as anything other than a married couple that talks through our posts before posting, regardless of who's fingers are on the keyboard. You are the first who has had difficulty with that. Nevertheless, this is Rich's board and his view of the rules is the governing standard.

Boris, your post is unusual, at best. Jim and Laura have posted as thoughtful, caring and informed patients for years. None of which have ever resulted in a complaint.
If you read their signature, you will see that both share the common challenges associated with chronic conditions. They have seen some of the best doctors all around the world, and their informed posts demonstrate these learnings. And they show a laser-focused ability and attention to each new poster. Given how uniquely helpful they are, and the fact that this has never been a problem, this is a not an issue. In fact, in the post-op forum, many spouses will post for their loved ones. Please, let it go. Take a break from the forums for a while if needed. Let others help others. |
PS to this topic.
Years ago, I put a lot of effort into these rules: ADRSupport Community - Member Guidelines & Code of Conduct So that my editing would NOT be a dictatorship. The #6 rule defines a malicious representation of others as being a problem. But this has nothing to do with Boris' complaint. I don't ever want to abuse any privileges, that's why I wrote these rules. Unlike politicians, I prefer to do everything in the public eye. I am moving this to the Big File, since it has nothing to do with Spinal Arthroplasty. Please read the forum descriptions BEFORE you post. |
