I just received the report from my latest DEXA Scan which was done on a different machine than my first one. From what I can tell it looks like my spine improved and my hip stayed the same after a few months on Forteo.

Does anybody know what the Ward's Triange T Score means? This T Score is worse than my original spine T Score so I'm worried. The one wasn't done for my first DEXA scan. I have an appointment with my doctor this Friday however I was just getting anxious to see what this T Score means. Thanks

Spotty, I think you already saw this thread, which has some of the T score metrics in it with some explanation from helpful members.

I am about to post a new Q & A column focusing on bone density issues -- fielded by Dr. Zeegers! Sorry we missed this question...

I found a good explanation of this on one website..go to www.amershamhealth.com and then put Ward's Triangle in the search box. Or click on Medcyclopaedia~ Altho it's a medical dictionary you'll be looking at, I was able to get some very good information from this...(don't know how to put it here tho)~

Thanks Mariaa for the site - I know what it means now. Good idea Harrison about the Q & A on bone density.
