ActivL and M6L difference
Hey ADR Peeps, what is the difference between the ActL device and the M6L device? Can anybody comment with what they know please.
|
Main difference is constrained device(ActivL) versus non-constrained or semi-constrained(M6). Also, alloy materials. CoCroMo (Activ) versus titanium(M6).
Movement is different also on axis of rotation. |
Activ L & M6 L difference
Drewrad,
Thx for you posted response. So if I understand your post it would mean constrained motion within the degrees of motion of the disk? Maczoid |
M6 constrains on axial rotation and has translation on forward flexion as well as extension and is not 'locked into' a path of travel.
Activ L has an insert which allows for translation but is locked into a path of travel. |
