Hi Everyone,

I have received a lot of help on the ADR board so I thought I would come back to ask a few more questions.

I have had a fusion on L-5/S-1 and a Charite ADR on L/4-L/5. I'm starting to have more pain in my lower back and right butt. When I had the fusion on L/5-S/1 Dr. Guyer (TBI) told me that the L/3-L/4 disk had some bad tears in it. I no longer have Aetna insurance so I cannot see Dr. Guyer but now have Cigna. I would like to find a good back doctor here in Houston, TX. Can you recommend a doctor in Houston? Thank you.

The one I hear about here all the time is the Texas back Institute. I am unclear if it is in Houston but it gets a lot of mention here. Sorry you have to be back under these circumstances. It sounds like you have already been through much.

Hang in there.

Quite a few in Houston

Quite a few ADR drs in Houston, but would have to agree that TBI is the right place to go.

Dr. Blacklock and Dr. Parrish of Methodist
Dr. Meyer
Dr. Etminan

All skilled, some with better bedside manners than others.
