Don't forget about the past topics and articles about "outsourcing" patients to other countries for medical treatment. Apparently, this is already affecting spine patients. E.g., some patients being notified that spine procedures and services will be covered if they have it done "overseas." I've heard this several times in the past few weeks, so maybe the policy has been implemented internally.
