Jesse,

Welcome and good luck with your research. I'm still in the research phase myself. I think the two discs you are considering are actually somewhat dissimilar. The Pro-disc-L is a traditional ball and socket design, and the LP-Esp is a more modern, one-piece design.

I think there are plenty members on here who have had excellent results with each. The attached article provides a decent comparison of the various disc designs. There have been many positive reports about LP-ESP using Dr. Desai as well, if you decide to go that route.

There are some Facebook pages that also have a wealth of useful information. I have particularly found the one that is not affiliated with a specific doctor useful.
