Harrison,
I know that this website is in its infancy stage. Is there any talks about adding a chat room in the near future? I would be interested in joining in on a scheduled weekly chat if a chat room was added.

Kris, that's a cool idea, I'll look into it. Here's what I am focusing on for the near term...
Next month, look for a "Q & A" forum called "Ask the Doctor." This will be a series of questions that come from all of us -- from the threads in this community. How many questions DO NOT get answered on this forum?! Many "toughies" and it bugs me! On a regular basis, I'll sift through all the threads, and pull out the most pointed/useful/common questions, pose those to leading doctors, get their answers, then post it into a new forum. I already have the commitments from two leading U.S. surgeons, and we are working on getting international doctors on board. We are also working on getting articles from top surgeons as well, which will be posted on the main site. We really need more instructive content, this is one of many steps... Thx for asking, I hope this helps in other ways...

Hi Kristine,
yes we are working on basics at the moment, it's a nice idea and I'm sure we will get to it, but its a long way away at the moment, like all establishments that are built we need to get solid foundations first and take it from there. Best wishes, Alastair

Hi all,
For the AOL users, I have created a chat room. We can either set times to chat or just pop in and see if anyone is in there. I am unable to post a link in here but please email me and I will send you the link. Wini P.S. I had a great conversation with Spotty last night in the chat room. Maybe more of us can meet in there tonight. |

hey Bootle, you can post a link here! You guys are doing me a favor by setting up "IM camp" here. Go ahead and post the link in this thread, get it going and we'll use this as a beta...
I am all for innovation, especially if it helps the community at large. Cool stuff, you guys are great! Rich

Hi Rich,
I didn't mean that you wouldn't let me post the link. What I mean is that I tried to drag the link into my reply and it wouldn't work. I don't know enough about computer stuff to figure out how else to do it. So for now, I need to have people email me so I can drag the link into the email. I will talk to my son today and see if he can help me figure out how to post it in here. Thanks, Wini |

Wini, when you post, you can select certain styles by clicking on the little buttons below "Instant UBB Code." One of them is URL; you click on it and insert the actual URL, then what the name want to display. Give it a go -- you can't break it!
Insert URL Hyperlink - UBB Code Insert Email Address - UBB Code Bold - UBB Code Italics - UBB Code Quote - UBB Code Code Tag - UBB Code List Start - UBB Code List Item - UBB Code List End - UBB Code Image - UBB Code
