Stephanie -
Go see "Body Worlds" at Charlotte's Discovery Place. They have a exhibit that has all othopedic prosthetic devices, including a ProDisc, installed. Pretty cool! For more information see ... http://www.discoveryplace.org/home/d...place-home.php and http://adrsupport.org/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/7701036081/m/3...701026581#3701026581 Anybody else that has the opportunity to see this traveling world exhibit should see it! It is worth it!

Thanks Paula - I will. I've been planning on it. I can't believe they have an artificial disc!
How are you doing?

Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your back pain, especially while trying to take care of young children. In March I had 3 level ADR (cervical) performed by Dr. Bertagnoli and his team and am much better already. I had a fusion at one level about 2-1/2 years prior. Healing from ADR surgery is MUCH easier on the body than after a fusion. I didn't work through Mark or anyone - I just went to pro-spine.com, filled out the questionnaire, emailed my MRI (had it on CD-Rom) and sent x-rays and prior relavent reports. The team was fantastic - it's the best medical care I've ever had by far. I even had 3 spine surgeons performing my discogram the day before my surgery. And everyone they refer to help their patients (the driver, local hotels) - the people all genuinely go out of their way to be helpful. I wish you every success in your journey to find out what surgery will be right for you and by whom. Sure hope you can be 'fixed' and feel a lot better soon. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the welcome. I had a question for you. I'm about to do a nerve study.. I was wondering what deyelinating polyneuropathy is? I'm researching neurological problems as the neurologist i'm working with believes in addition to the back/disc issues that I have an additional neurological problem. Thanks,
