(Not) funny how the FDA will approve Botox injections to control underarm sweat but not approve relevant procedures. I just heard a commercial while in the bathroom (loo) and almost fell off my chair!

When is the summit? I still haven't heard from the surgeon's office/research people re the questions I asked. Will call again. Don't really like not being able to get questions answered when a dr/facility has proposed surgery and is requesting auth with WC... in fact, don't like it at all no matter how many surgeries they've done~

Guess I will cross my fingers for something around May 10th - 13th, and hope not to be disappointed...again.
David Edit: I just checked, and Synthes (Prodisc) is a "Platinum" Sponsor of the Summit, so perhaps an announcment will be made there? I still can't wonder what the next announcement will be: Prodisc one level approval or Prodisc multi-level approval. I am hoping for the latter, but realistically expecting the former

one can hope!
Only thing I can do is wait and see (and since I have put my life on hold for about 2 years now, I am pretty good at waiting).... David

I am almost positive the "approvable letter" by FDA to prodisc was only for the single level. I thought I had an email response from Prodisc saying the 2 level arm of the study is treated separately and will get it's own approval down the road...but my laptop crashed so I don't have access to my my old emails.
One can only hope this long delay could be related to the 2 level approval but I think we would have heard an annoucement or new bulletin about it. Hope I am wrong.
