M6 Lumbar ADR- Germany
I am a 35 year old male from New Zealand. I am looking at going to Germany to have ADR at the ONZ clinic as my only option here in NZ is anterior fusion of L5/s1. I am trying to find anyone who has had the M6 lumbar discus replacement done in the early days pf this prosthesis as it seems to have had amazingly good results in all the patients I have talked to but they have all been done within the last 2-3 years.. I want to try and find people who have had ADR over the last 5-10 years..
Basically trying to work out whether it is worth doing versus a fusion that is going to likely cause future surgeries... Any assistance would be appreciated as the cost is around $60k NZD so not a small amnout of money and also want to get back to an active sporty life.. Thanks Jamie |

Jamie, have you considered going to Australia instead? There are some super-experienced spine surgeons there, e.g. Scott-Young.
