Scott,

Good luck with the insurance. Very often that is the most difficult issue with which we have to contend.

Good luck and please keep us posted.

Jeff

Scheduled for surgery on Tuesday with Dr. Bitan. Going to have a one level fusion at c56 and possible adr at c67 if needed. Insurance refused to pay for adr. Dr. Bitans office worked with me and I will go after ins. later and see.

Default Out of Surgery in Room

Feel pretty good, been in room since 2p. Throat is sore on swallowing and hip hurts where graft was taken. Dr. Bitan and his team were very professional but also easy-going and relaxing. So far so good. ProDisc C at C56 and Zero P fusion at C67 (I had it switched in a previous post)

Have Hydro-Co pain pump..not really using unless I need a nap Ate/drank clear stuff and I'm starving....

Lisa is a great Nurse..as is everyone I've met so far Lenox Hill

Wow,
It sounds like you are doing great! So glad to hear that.
Thanks for the update and keep getting better. Hope you get a good meal soon.

DAnn
P.S. I want to hear all about it when you are all well, as I'm considering a similar surgery. So glad to hear how well you are doing! I'm rooting for you.
