Heading to Germany Next Week
Heading to the Gelenk Kilnik next week for cervical ADR surgery using the M6-C device. Has anyone had any luck with this device? I've read it's about the best out there.

It's great that you're looking for good news stories! my two cents: imagine internal healing and regaining function in life and having less pain.... Try as hard as possible to focus on the good and hope.

Canadian but not into hockey (even as a woman I'm a shame to the country lol). Sporadic back problems for yrs. Severe issues 2013. degenerative disc disease 2013, disc protrusion, mild stenosis. Epidural steroid injections, chiro, massage, accupuncture, too many meds to list, Naturopath, physio, occupational therapy, kinesiologist, counselling... Gelenik
Interestingly, Gelenik refused to do 2-level lumbar surgery on me last year, citing the procedure would be too complex... Dr. Feil was who I approached there...

Update
Just got finished with the pre-op appointment and found out that my 2 level ADR has turned in to a 3 level ADR. What's nice is the cost is not going to be any more than what was quoted.

Fusion
Hi RDPlatt,
How is your fusion holding up? May I also ask why you did not go to the same doctor for the ADR surgery?

Fusion
The fusion is holding up fine. Due to the length of time that the vertebrae were pushing on the nerve roots I've benn told the damage might be permanent. However the good news is the pain in my leg is gone. Just the limited range of motion issues remain.
I had to go to a different Doctor because Dr. Graf retired and the hospital does not have anyone trained to do the ADR surgery. I could have went to Dubai but they only had the Mobi-C device which is not as good as the M6.
