New to forum
I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I am a 52-year-old dentist that has beat up my back through the years. I have read a great deal of the information here and appreciate the contributions others have made. I hope I can contribute back.

Thanks Matt, for posting. Hey, when was your last surgery? There's a typo in your signature.

Matt,
I updated your signature with the correct date. Hey, what's the latest? Making any progress? And how the heck did your surgeon "miss" the areas needing surgery?!

I have foot drop and weakness in my right leg. Both surgeons attempted to do spinal decompression to relieve the foraminal stenosis at l2-3 and at L4-5. Another surgeon told me he wouldn't have tried because is very difficult to gain access to those areas.

I am still waiting for treatment plans and quotes from a number of surgeons. I thought it was ridiculous that a surgeon would miss these areas, but I found it is quite common. Problem is that they have destabilized my spine and made my situation much worse. I hope that I am still a candidate for ADR.
