That was a great video. I'm from Rockford Il, which is west of ChicAGO by about 60 miles, and it would be great to find a doc that does it in town. Problem is, I haven't been able to locate one in town yet. I did go to see Harel deutsch at rush hospital, and he recommended a charite at L5s1. I have procrastinated with him, because after one visit he was ready to do an operation already, and when asked about the positive discography on l4-l5, he replied that if it bothers me afterwards, he could always fuse it then. That advice didn't sit well for some reason. That and it's a 2.5 hour drive to get home from rush.
Brian, After seeing how well you're doing, it sure makes me think artificial disc is the way to go. What type did you get and at what level? |

I would have run away from that situation too! Do you have the means to come west? There are great guys in LA--Delamarter and Regan I've heard. I haven't seen or spoken to either one but others on these boards have treated with them.

Thanks! Week 3...Cartwheels coming
Well, I never really did a "proper" cartwheel (cuz I'm a guy) girls do them perfectly and guys just do them looking more like a rolling chimpanzee.
I'm looking forward to my next check-up so I can get on my own PT routine and ease back into real range of motion type things..I will be back to skiing this year, jars, twists and all. I can tell already. I'll be thinking of the right kind of "motion" video for my update next week. Sorry you gotta go to Germany, Brian |
