I hope you do get a tape of the exam--for my PI case, we had to notify the doctor/insurance company and we had to hire a court reporter who was also a videographer because the insurance company was paranoid that we would alter the tape in some way. It sure came in handy when the "independent" examiner testified that he examined my neck when he didn't, among other things he lied about and distorted.
